Step by step

You choose a PDF. Your browser opens it and reads the text. The file is never uploaded.

Coverlist finds the pages that hold insurance terms: the Contract Particulars or Contract Data, the insurance options and any amendments. Pages with no readable text are flagged to you.

Only the text of those pages is sent, encrypted, to our checking service. Your cover list shows exactly which pages were sent.

The service passes the text to an AI model, set to zero data retention. The model returns each requirement with its exact words and page.

We check that every quote really appears in your contract and remove any that doesn't. Our rulebook then decides what each requirement means.

Your cover list is built in your browser and the clause text is discarded. Nothing from the contract is saved, by us or by the AI provider.

Never received. It stays on your device.

Held in memory only while your check runs, then discarded. Never written to a database or logs.
Your cover list
Made on your device. We don't keep a copy.
Check records
The contract form found, the number of pages and how long the check took. No words from the contract. Used to improve accuracy.
Your name, work email and brokerage
Only if you download a PDF. Kept until you ask us to delete them. Never sold.
Website analytics
Only if you accept analytics cookies. Pages visited and buttons used, never contract content. Kept for 14 months.

How the service is protected
- Every connection is encrypted with HTTPS.
- No user accounts or passwords, so there are none to steal.
- The website can add download records but never read them back.
- Keys and credentials live on the server, never in your browser.
- Rate limits and bot protection on the checking service.
